Hilton Garden Inn Madison Downtown, WI

a new property with good amenities and very helpful staff; location is good for UW campus and city center, all shorter walking distance; very efficient front desk, fast checkin/checkout, good-sized elevators, spacious rooms, good beds, convenient chargers for devices, spacious shower with good water flow; good breakfast buffet or a la cart, very good overall!

Towels were big, room Was extremely clean.

Staff was very friendly and it was home away from home for us when we stayed while dropping our son at UW Madison. We have decided to book again in future whenever we visit our son. Special mention of Sandy who was one of the waitresses at breakfast. Amazing human being and provided an exceptional service.

The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The hotel is brand new and gorgeous. The rooms are set up well (love the small walk-in closet with shelves/drawers & a mirror that acts Iike a dressing room. The location is perfect - minutes from the Capital and the University and minutes from Lake Monona. One of the bike path “highways” is right behind the hotel. There are two Bcycle bike share stations near the hotel and a few Zipcars nearby too. We didn’t need a rental car. A perfect weekend.
